Maximilien Billet received the MSc in Physics, light-matter interactions, from Lille 1 University in 2014. Maximilien then received in 2018 his PhD degree from the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies and Lille 1 university for work performed on the design, fabrication and characterization of III-V material based ultrafast photodetectors (300 GHz). Since June 2018 he joined the PRG as a visitor researcher from OPERA-photonics department of ULB to work on III-V nonlinear integrated photonics.
