Karel Dumon received his Msc degree in Engineering Physics from Ghent University in 2015 and has several years of experience in developing and deploying novel technologies in close collaboration with industrial clients. He started working for IMEC and Ghent University in 2023 to lead the BeQCI project, which has to goal to build the first quantum communication infrastructure testbed in Belgium as part of the EuroQCI initiative.
