Kumar Saurav received his 5 year integrated Master's degree in Photonics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin, India in June 2012 . As a part of Master's degree he completed his master thesis on "“Development of a Confocal Microscope for Single Molecule Fluorescence Analysis: Application to Confocal Luminescence Imaging of Single-Crystalline gold microtriangles" at Institut Fresnel, Marseilles, France. Since 2013 he is working in PRG, INTEC, UGent, developing photonic crystal cavities to probe biological solution with nanoscale resolution.
