Abstract
In this tutorial the fundamentals and the state-of-the-art of spontaneous and stimulated Raman and Brillouin scattering in highy confined silicon and silicon nitride waveguides are reviewed. Applications in spectroscopy and in microwave photonics are discussed. Related Research Topics
