Luis Reis received the BSc in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico (Portugal) in 2016 and his MSc in Microsystems Engineering from the University of Freiburg (Germany). He focused his master thesis on Adiabatic Frequency Conversion. Since November 2019 he joined the Photonics Research Group of UGent and OPERA Photonics of ULB, where he is now a PhD student, to collaborate with the ERC starting grants QuadraComb from F. Leo (ULB) and ELECTRIC from Prof. B. Kuyken (UGent) on the fabrication and characterization of non-linear platforms bonded on silicon wafers, mainly gallium phosphide.
