Chiara was born in 1990. She received the Master Degree in Physics with summa cum laude from Universitá degli Studi di Milano in February 2015 with the thesis "Production and characterisation of high speed graphene-based broadband optical modulators". She performed the thesis work during a 9 months internship in imec, Leuven. She received the Bachelor Degree in Physics from Universitá degli Studi di Milano in October 2012 with the thesis "Production of optical radiation through a Free Electron Laser, using a comb electron beam".
