Dr. Ali Uzun (Postdoctoral Researcher)
This person is working in this group since 2023.
Ali Uzun received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and electrical and electronics engineering and the M.Sc. degree in electronics and computer engineering from Istanbul Sehir University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork, Cork, Ireland in 2024. He has worked on the development of transfer-printable edge-emitting InAs/GaAs quantum dot (QD) lasers and their integration with various silicon photonics platforms. His research focuses on the heterogeneous integration of III-V (InP and GaAs) devices on SiPh substrates using micro-transfer printing.Specific Research Topics
