Ashim is a highlander from Phutung en route the famous Langtang national park, Nepal. He joined EU’s Erasmus Mundus Masters in Photonics program in 2009 and graduated jointly from UGent, VUBrusseles, Belgium and USt.Andrews, HWU, Scotland in 2011. Since 2011 he is working in PRG, INTEC, UGent, developing Silicon Nitride photonics platform and utilizing the technology for on-chip Raman spectroscopy.
