Abstract
We propose and demonstrate a photonic interconnect layer consisting of heterogeneous microdisk lasers and microdetectors integrated with a nanophotonic silicon waveguide circuit. The photonic layer is fabricated using waferscale processes and a die-to-wafer bonding process. Related Research Topics
