Abstract
A configurable silicon modulator is proposed, consisting of a phase modulator embedded in a tunable Mach-Zehnder interferometer. We present the analytical analysis and numerical simulations, as well as the experimental results for carrier suppressed intensity modulation. Related Research Topics
